💸 Rising HOA Fees, Falling Confidence

At HarborPlace, HOA fees keep rising—and many residents are rightly concerned about the impact on property values.

The Board President even pushed for further increases, despite already sky-high fees. He once promised to provide comparative data with similar buildings to justify the hikes—but (no surprise) that turned out to be just another empty promise. No data ever came.

Meanwhile, there's little transparency or evidence of meaningful oversight. Residents are expected to keep paying more for less.

📊 Let’s look at the numbers (per Redfin):

Building - Sq Ft - HOA Fees/Month

🏆 HarborPlace - 834 - $936

488 E Ocean Blvd - 960 - $739

455 E Ocean Blvd - 805 - $517

Queens Surf - 632 - $605

HarborPlace leads the pack—for the highest fees. But is that the kind of leadership we need?
